Why a Disney Vacation is so special during Christmas

Orlando is home to a couple of the world’s largest theme parks, and this is what makes it such a special holiday destination.  Not to mention that all the Orlando hotels really go out of their way to make everyone feel in the Christmas spirit during the holiday season. They do this by decorating their lobby and guest rooms from floor to ceiling with Christmas garb. The fact that Orlando is in Florida, also helps.  Why not avoid those freezing temperatures and gloomy weather?  Florida is warm and sunny most days of the year.  Why not enjoy Christmas like Australians do?  They have their Christmas in the middle of Summer.  You won’t have to travel to the Southern Hemisphere to do that, just to beautiful Orlando and Florida.

Everything Christmas is concentrated into Disneyworld and Universals’ two theme parks, plus several others like SeaWorld.  You can flit from one to the other or spend a week in a vast resort, like Disneyworld.  Orlando itself has much to offer in the way of theatres and art galleries and museums and interesting architecture.  Because Orlando is in the middle of Florida, you don’t have to worry about some seasonal harsh weather patterns.  It may rain at holiday time, but any rain is usually brief and you can seek shelter indoors at a park attraction or theatre.

Most of the attractions and characters at Disneyworld and Orlando are known the world over and children from many countries love to visit the Orlando area and  there are many artisans who work in the area– from one who paints wonderful scenes on wooden chicken eggs, to others who exhibit their crafts around the World Showcase at Epcot, in Disneyworld.

People from across the US and Canada and every country in the  world, can experience many other cultures in a condensed and accessible form.  You can experience a ride on a Segway at Epcot, ride along with Spiderman at Universal, or chat with Harry Potter at Universals’ Islands of Adventure.  Don’t forget that great Butter Beer and watch out for the Quidditch match!

Whatever you fancy, you’ll find in Orlando at Christmas time.  Most people cannot spend more than a couple of weeks on vacation and this area needs more to be explored fully.  Some families pick a few parks or areas one year, then visit a few more the next time around.  You can also plan out your vacation route ahead of time so that the areas you want to see first, will be clear and your pathway free from hindrances.  Now that sounds like a plot from the Wizardry World of Harry Potter, if you ask me!

Disney Vacation Packages

Are you wanting to have a family get-a-way that your family just won’t forget? Are you looking for a family vacation that the whole family will enjoy no matter what there ages are? If you are then look no further than Disney vacation packages.

A Disney vacation is great fun for the entire family. Just imagine seeing all of you favorite Disney characters that you grew up with coming to life in front of your very eyes. There is nothing quite like it. My favorite Disney character was Mickey Mouse when I was growing up and I sure did enjoy getting his autograph at the Disney parks. It was quite a thrill for me to meet him even though I am a full grown adult.

My favorite Disney Park is the Magic Kingdom. In fact, if you are coming to Orlando, Florida and there is only theme park that you can go to, then this is the theme park to go to. It is the mother of theme parks. The Magic Kingdom will take you a couple of days to cover the entire park. There is that much to see there.
